Audrey M. Johnson is an avid runner, reader, traveler, and a certified fundraising professional with over 20 years of experience generating revenue for local, national, and international organizations. Currently she serves as the Vice President of Institutional Advancement for the Children’s Defense Fund.

Propelled by a commitment to community service, Audrey has served on boards of directors, government task forces and advisory groups to give voice on issues she is passionate about to those in positions of power. Audrey is proud to have been recognized as the 2019 volunteer and mentor of the year by Higher Achievement, a DC-Metro afterschool program for middle-school scholars. She is also the President of the Association of Fundraising Professionals DC-Metro Chapter and serves on the AFP Global Board as the Chapter Presidents Council Representative.

A transplant from Canada, Audrey holds a double major Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology and sociology, an MBA specializing in organizational leadership, which included an international business residency at the Grenoble School of Management in France, and she holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School. Always one for a challenge, in March of this year she achieved a long-held goal to climb Mount Kilimanjaro.

Cherian is a Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE), Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy (CAP), & AFP Certified Facilitator. He founded the NonprofitOS, a generative AI platform designed to help organizations maximize their impact. Before starting NonprofitOS, Cherian spent more than 25 years working in the nonprofit sector, working with thousands of donors and raising more than 100 million for various organizations and causes. He proudly serves as the Vice Chair of Professional Development on the AFP Global Board. He is a sought-after trainer and keynote speaker, and his thought leadership has been featured in several publications.

A leading figure in Canadian philanthropy, Daniel H. Lanteigne is Vice President, Talent, Strategy & Impact at BNP Philanthropic Performance.  He is notably recognized for his complementary expertise, which enables him to adopt a holistic approach to governance, talent management and fundraising that is both strategic and practical.

In recent years, Mr. Lanteigne has received several civilian honours, including the Quebec National Assembly Medal in 2021 and the Lieutenant-Governor's Medal for Exceptional Merit (Gold), in recognition of his "outstanding volunteer and philanthropic actions" in 2018.   Actively involved for many years with the Association of Fundraising Professionals, he serves as Chair of the Board for the Quebec chapter until December 31, 2023. He has participated in the Fellowship in Inclusion and Philanthropy and has been teaching the Fundamental of Fundraising Course since 2019. Starting in 2024, he will join the AFP Global Board of Directors, as Vice-Chair of Membership.

Daniel H. Lanteigne participates in numerous forums as an author, speaker and trainer in the philanthropic sector. He is also a lecturer in philanthropic management at the Université de Montréal. Since 2022, he has also chaired the National Advisory Committee of the Canada’s Volunteer Awards and sits on the Board of Trustees of the crown corporation, Ingenium Canada. Since 2023, he has also hosted the radio show Les Héros Anonymes, which spotlights little-known or little-funded organizations.

As a member of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and a person with a disability, he is a governor of Fondation Émergence, which fights homophobia and transphobia, and sits on the Accessibility committee of Élections Québec.

Identified as a young leader of the next generation in governance, he has completed university training in corporate governance at Université Laval, leading to the designation of Chartered Director (C.Dir. and ASC). He is also a member of the Ordre des conseillers en ressources humaines (Certified Human Resources Professional) and holds CFRE credential.
